Session Availability

Amanda has a mixture of weekday morning, afternoon and evening appointments, in addition to, office hours on most Sundays

Session Fee & Payment

Session Fee:

  • $150 per 50-minute session; for longer sessions, rates can be discussed

  • Out-of-Network (ONN) provider

    • Amanda does not accept health insurance, but can offer receipts for possible, out-of-network reimbursement

    • Please see FAQ’s for a further explanation of why she chooses not to accept insurance

Payment:

  • Credit/Debit Cards

    • Including most Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards (must have major logo like Visa or Mastercard)

    • If not paying cash, clients will upload their credit card information to the secure, online client portal, where their card will be charged at the end of the business day on their session date by Stripe

  • Cash

    • Due at time of service

  • Available Receipts (upon request)

    • Statement- includes any client transactions that occurred during the specified time frame, including invoices and payments

    • Superbill- for out-of-network (ONN) insurance reimbursement, similar to a Statement, but provides additional information like CPT codes and a client's diagnosis code(s)

Cancellation Policy

  • 48-hours notice

  • Cancellations made less than 48-hours in advance, are subject to a full-session cancellation fee

    • If the client normally uses a credit card on-file to pay for sessions, then their credit card will be charged a full-session fee at the end of the business day of their originally scheduled session

    • Cash-paying client’s will be invoiced a full-session cancellation fee and must pay for this invoice via credit card on the secure, online client portal

  • Exceptions will be made in some cases (crisis, illness, etc.); up to the discretion of the therapist

    • Amanda intentionally leaves a couple of session slots open every week in the instance that a client needs to reschedule (held for emergencies and clients with chronic illness) and would still like to come in that same week, thus avoiding the cancellation fee

Office Info

Kama Wellness is located within a wellness collaborative, known as Root Wellness. Amanda is happy to connect interested clients with other health practitioners.

  • Often, incorporating other health services, especially body-focused ones (massage, Ayurveda, reiki, etc.) helps bolster the healing process

Office Accessibility:

  • Office is located on the first floor, access via back door (steps leading up to door)

    • Unfortunately at this time, the building is not wheelchair-accessible

  • Restrooms

    • Two, gender-neutral restrooms in the building (1st and 2nd floors)

Parking & Transportation:

  • Free parking lot in rear of building

  • Route 31 bus stop in front of building

  • Close access to I-25 (0.5 mile from 23rd Avenue exit) and downtown Denver
